Help us bring a bright spark to any grey day, by joining the Good Day Cork Collective.
World renowned researcher Dr. Barbara Fredrickson has been studying positive emotions since in 1998. Dr Fredrickson says,“Just as water lilies retract when sunlight fades, so do our minds when positivity fades.”
Good Day Cork is a media space – offline, print and social media - that is about creating and celebrating positivity by shining a light on the good things happening in our County.
We began in 2018 with a print magazine which has a readership of over 4000. We also began hosting different collaborative events to amplify the positivity in us and our community.
Please make a donation to join the Good Day Cork Collective. Your donation will help continue this work which evidently enriches the tapestry of life.
Your donation will go a long way. For instance, a small donation could help us create positive podcasts effectively by purchase of the right software or support a local musician whose music we could use in the podcast. We have a long list of opportunities that could enliven our work through your donation. Drop us a line and we can discuss this with you any time for complete transparency.
We are committed to creating heartwarming media that represents kindness, freedom, diversity and equality. We achieve this by gathering local stories for people's consumption and the positive development of this city..county ..country.

...described by the people of Cork
I always feel touched, inspired and pretty darn good after a Good Day News hit. Mission accomplished Good Day Cork.
The more aware we become of the good in our community, the more inspired we become to contribute to that, and in a small way make the world a better place… Thank you Good Day News for reminding us of this...
